Literature Text

Once you got back to the motel, Sam and you headed directly to the room. He fumbled in his pocket for the spare key he, luckily, took with him and smiled when he found it. You took it from his hand and unlocked the door.

Dean was sprawled over a bed. His arm covering his eyes and the sound of a soft snore evidenced you he was asleep. You let Sam close the door and climbed on the bed next to the older brother, kneeling beside him and pocking his shoulder.

"Dean." You whispered. He mumbled something and rolled on the bed, pushing you out of it and onto the floor. The loud thud of your back hitting the stained carped, startled the hunter out of his slumber, he sat up and pulled a knife from under his pillow. You grunted, stretching your sore back. He sighed when he saw it was only you and rubbed his face tiredly as he put the knife down on the nightstand.

"Danmit, (y/n)."

"Sorry." You mumbled, getting up. "Not just about waking you up, but... also for earlier. For leaving when I knew it was dangerous, I just wasn't thinking strait."

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, alright, you're forgiven. Just be careful next time."

You grinned and playfully punched his shoulder, sitting next to him on the bed. "Don't you have anything to say?" You asked, arching an eyebrow. Dean looked confused, glancing from you to his brother, who also seemed to be waiting for something to be said.

"I... do?"

"Yes, jackass, you do."

"Oh. Right!" His eyes widened, realizing what you meant. "I'm sorry."

"That's all?" You folded your arms, facing him.

"What else do you want me to say?!" Dean grunted annoyed. You giggled.

"Nothing. I was just trying to get an emotional speech from you, but I guess you won't do it with your brother on the room." You winked at him, earning you a glare from the older Winchester. You hugged him before he could protest and, surprisingly, he responded. His arms snaking around your waist. "I'm just kidding, cuddle-bear" You whispered and softly pecked his cheek. You pulled back

"So... It's ten past seven. We should keep researching." Sam suggested.

"Nah. I don't feel like doing it." Both brothers stared at you. "Don't get me wrong, I don't like there I have to endure you all the time next to me, but after two almost death experiences in one day, I think I deserve a break."

"That's actually a good idea" Dean stated.

"Of course it is. What about we hit the local bar?"

Sam sighed. "I don't think that's a good idea..."

"C'mon, Sam. It'll be fun!" You pouted.

"Fine."

You high-fived Dean. "okay. I'll be ready in 20." You said, quickly jumping up and gathering some clothes from your duffel bag.

You showered in 10 minutes, dressing in skinny jeans, tank top and leather jacket. You tamed your hair and put on some mascara and gloss before leving the bathroom. You put your ankle boots, specific for non-hunting occasion and looked at the boys. "I'm ready." You announced, standing in front of the door.

"You're the first girl who actually meant 20 when you said it." Dean said.

You glanced at your watch. "Technically, I only took 19 minutes." You said, making the brothers laugh. "C'mon, boys." You left the room and ran towards the Impala, avoiding the heavy rain.

10 minutes later and Dean had parked outside the bar. You made your way from the car to the front door and grinned as you opened it. The bar wasn't crowded, but most seats were taken. You had a hard time finding a free table. You rushed to some vacant seats and sat down, smirking to a blondie and her friends who, apparently, wanted the same spot. She glared at you but switched to a flirtatious mode when Sam and Dean occupied the seats across from you. You giggled.

"Hey, guys. You have some admirers." You stated, nodding your head towards the females.

Dean bluntly turned around and openly smiled to a brunette one, who replied with a shy wave of her hand. Dean returned his attention to you and the girl almost fainted. Sam glanced back, way more discreetly than his brother. The blondie winked at him.

"So... any potencial?" You asked, leaning your elbows on the table and supporting your face on your hands.

"Even if there was, I still have an annoying chick to babysit."

You opened your mouth to reply when there was a flap of wings and Catiel appeared next to you. You gasped, startled and quickly looked around, sighing seeing no one had noticed his sudden appearence.

"Crap, Castiel! A warning would be nice next time!" You muttered.

"Did I scare you?"

"No, of course not. You just cause me a heart attack!"

He frowned. "Forget it!" You said before he could ask anything. "You have a nice timing though." You turned to the brothers. "Now both of you can go get the girls. Castiel is here!" You clapped your hands togheter, grinning.

"Any news, Cas?" Dean questioned, ignoring you.

"You guys are no fun. I don't want to talk about business tonight!" You said, jumping up from your stool. Sam grabbed you wrist.

"Where are you going?"

"Relax, I just want to grab some drinks. Beer, everyone?"

Dean nodded and so did Sam.

"Not for me. Thank you." Castiel spoke.

You smiled and went to the bar, signing to the bartender.

"Hey, doll. What can I get ya?" He asked.

"Three beers."

"Three beers coming!" The man said as he poured the drinks and slid it on the counter for you to get. You grabbed them and smiled.

"Thanks."

"Anytime, sweety."

You returned to the table and set the drinks in front of Dean and Sam as you sat down. "Ok, Cas. Shoot."

He tilted his head to the side, frowning. "What am I suppose to shoot, (y/n)?"

You had no pattience for explain. "Just say what you wanted to."

"Crowley found Pazuzu." He said. You instantly lit up.

"That's great! When can we talk to him?" You asked, sipping from your beer.

"You look a little too excited." Dean pointed out, furrowing his brows.

You shrugged. "When did you meet Crowley anyway?"

"A few hours ago. We've been... working togheter in your behalf."

"An angel and a demon on the same side for me? That's flattering." You spoke, grinning slyly. Dean rolled his eyes.

"Alright. We all know how awesome you are, could we cut to what matters?"

"Are you saying I don't matter, Dean Winchester?" You asked the older hunter, leaning back on your chair. He smirked.

"What did Crowley says?" Sam asked, disregarding yours and Dean's bickering.

"Pazuzu spent the last century hidden and it's not willing to leave it, but Crowley believes he might cooperate. Lamashtu has been his rival for a long time and his wish is to smite her for good."

"He wants the same we do." You stated.

"But he refuses to meet all of us." Castiel said.

"What is that suppose to mean?" Sam questioned.

The angel's jaw clenched. "It means he will only speak to (y/n)."

"No, no, no, no. She's not going any near that demon!" Dean said.

"Not without us." Sam complemented.

"I'm a grown woman. Stop acting like my parents." You snapped, crossing your arms. "I'll go, Castiel."

"Are you sure, (y/n)?"

"Hush." You spat towards the brothers, returning your attention to Cas. "Yes. I'm sure."

He nodded and brought two fingers to your forehead. "What-?"

You felt something twisting in your stomach and, in a heartbeat, you were standing in a dimly lit deserted street.

"Warning, Cas!" You snickered, pinching the bridge of your nose.

"I apologize. I thought you wanted to do that immediately."

You sighed. "It's ok. Just... I don't see how the middle of the street could be a demon's hiding."

"It is not. He is living in a cabin in the woods beside the road, unfortunetly, it has angel's banishing sygil, therefore, I can not enter with you. Are you sure you want to do this? I will not be able to protect you once you're inside."

You gulped. "I don't have any weapon with me."

He frowned and you saw a blade sliding down his sleeve. "You may use my angel blade."

"Seriously? Wow. Thanks." You said, grabbing it before he changed his mind. You looked around. "So... Where to?"

Castiel led you into the woods, and you got a glimpse of a wooden cabin, light sipping from the windows and door. He walked with you until you were standing right in front of it.

"This is as far as I can go. I'll be waiting outside."

"Okay. Wish me luck!" You said after takins a deep breath.

"Good luck." Castiel replied, making you chuckle even with the tension.

Your hand grasped the knob and twisted it.
